Abstract

Most of H_infinity control problems reduce to the so-called one-block problem, which is equivalent to the Nehari problem. In this paper, a parameterization of all suboptimal interpolants for the Nehari problem is given from an operator theoretic viewpoint. We also show that this parameterization can be represented in a simple manner in some special cases. This representation leads to an explicit realization of suboptimal controllers of the standard H_infinity control problem for a class of infinite-dimensional systems.
