Abstract

A synthesis problem of sampled-data systems satisfying (i) internal stability, (ii) H-infinity performance, and (iii) step-disturbance rejection is considered. It is shown that a cascade connection of ZOH and a discrete-time integrator is necessary for the solvability of the synthesis problem under reasonable conditions. The dual synthesis problem is also considered.
