Abstract

The paper proposes a method of designing an adaptive observer for distributed parameter systems of the parabolic type. The filters are composed, and the adaptive law is obtained using the Lyapunov function. The general control law is derived by adopting Ackerman's algorithm. The state feedback system applying the identified value and the estimated value is then constructed. Furthermore, by assuming the PE property, the parameter error's convergence to zero and the stability of the system can be guaranteed.
