Abstract

In this paper we propose a new method that enables us to apply the local reachability analysis to a controlled quantum system, which is described by a complex matrix valued Ito type stochastic differential equation. We show that by using Gateaux derivative we can analyze the local reachability directly in complex matrix form. We apply the direct method to the local reachability analysis for a controlled quantum system with arbitrary measurement efficiency, and obtain sufficient conditions for measurement and control under which the state transition is restricted to a low dimensional space.
