Abstract

In this paper, we consider an SOS condition which assesses the stability of linear time-delay systems having state and control delays. It is said in general that the SOS methodology is a powerful technique for analysis and design of systems, because the technique can derive a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional automatically. However, no reference demonstrates the fact that a lot of calculation time and high computational performance are required to test the condition. In view of this, the paper compares the effectiveness and the calculation time of the ondition with an LMI method numerically by using some examples.
