Abstract

When dealing with models of dynamical systems, computational issues may become very important. To reduce complexity, model reduction techniques provide simpler models that approximate the original one. However, it is desirable that some features of the system are not lost in this transformation. In this paper we discuss, within the behavioral approach, reduced models of discrete-time dynamical systems which exhibit symmetries.
