Abstract

This paper is concerned with the effect of plant uncertainty on the H_2 tracking performance level when the optimal controller for the nominal plant is used in the feedback loop. A hard upper bound for the degradation has been derived when the plant belongs to a gap-ball centred at the nominal plant. For SISO plants, an investigation is carried out on how poles and zeros of the plant can affect the bound.
