Abstract

This paper is concerned with H_infty model reduction, and an approach is proposed to solve this non-convex problem by means of the quantifier elimination technique. The approach is capable of showing exact feasible regions in the space of the achievable error and the approximant coefficients, both symbolically and graphically, and enables one to ``see'' the optimal error and the approximant.
