Abstract

In this work we use the Inclusion Principle for linear time-invariant system to study and construct convolutional codes. First, using a similar technique to puncturing, we introduce a new convolutional codes of high-rate like a contraction of another of low-rate. On the other hand we introduce conditions for that some concatenated convolutional codes were a expansion of the outer encoder of the concatenation. As well as, we introduce some distance bound for the concatenated convolutional codes.
