Abstract

In the paper, we give sufficient conditions for a continuous nonlinear Roesser system to be positive on the interval [0,1]x[0,1]. It is also shown that these conditions are equivalent to the positivity of linear Roesser system - this result is a counterpart of a classical theorem which holds true for discrete linear Roesser systems.
